ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR - PAYROLL & BENEFITS
Payroll, benefits, and more! As a member of the Accounting Team, your focus will be Payroll and Benefits. This position supports the payroll function through processing of new hires and terminations, timesheet entry, payroll processing, reporting, and remittance. You are a resource to team members with benefit related questions as well as short and long term disability claims. You will also provide assistance to staff attending apprenticeship programs.
In addition you’ll be performing other Accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, ad-hoc reporting, account reconciliations, and year-end tasks. You will also provide support to other team members when needed, and assist with projects when necessary.
To be successful in this role you possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent service. In addition you have experience handling confidential information and a strong commitment to professionalism and discretion. You must also be conscientious and detail-oriented – with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications for consideration:
• Minimum of one year of experience in payroll administration, demonstrating a working knowledge of payroll practice and applicable federal and provincial legislation.
• Post-secondary training in accounting is preferred.
• Enrolment in or completion of PCP or CPA designation is considered an asset.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is also an asset, as is experience with Sage Timberline.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, including advanced Excel skills.
• Access to reliable transportation throughout the workday is required.
Community Sales Representative
As a Community Sales Representative you will be responsible for all New Homes sales in an assigned community. In addition you will work as part of a larger team promoting what Laebon has to offer throughout Central Alberta.
Previous sales experience is preferred. Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office is required. This is a commission based role; travel is required; and you must be prepared to work weekends. Flexibilitiy is required to meet with prospects and Home Owners.

HOst / Hostess - Red Deer & Area
Are you a friendly, outgoing individual that enjoys working with the public? Are you curious about a career in sales? Does the idea of showing off our beautiful Show Homes to visitors appeal to you?
If so, this part-time opportunity may be what you’re looking for. We need a positive and helpful individual that is willing to work afternoons, weekends, and the occasional evening. You will be scheduled from two to five shifts per week. Travel may be required to the neighbouring communities of Sylvan Lake, Penhold, and Innisfail.
