New School planned in Timberlands (borders Timberstone)

The Timberlands neighborhood will be home to a new elementary school scheduled to open in September 2014.   Red Deer Public Schools board of trustees considered the options for the new 600 student capacity school to be built in either the Davenport or Timberstone communities.  In the end, with a focus on building for tomorrow, the board unanimously selected the Timberlands site.
