RED DEER, May 10, 2015 - The Central Alberta chapter of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association is proud to announce the recipients of the 2015 Awards of Excellence in Housing Awards presented by Wolf Creek Building Supplies Ltd. – Castle Building Centre.
The Awards of Excellence in Housing celebrates innovation, creativity and excellence in the residential construction industry in the Central Alberta region. The awards gala was held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel and Exhibition Centre in Red Deer. With over 500 people in attendance, more than 25 awards were handed out during the evening.
Laebon Homes was crowned Builder of the Year - large volume (building over 25 homes per year) taking home a total of five (5) awards, while Platinum homes secured Builder of the Year -small volume (building 24 and under homes a year). Bowood Homes received top award for Renovator of the Year. To win these prestigious awards, entrants were awarded points received for housing and/ or renovation projects entered in the CHBA-CA Awards of Excellence, in combination with results from customer and trade partner surveys.
In addition to the housing awards, the following President’s awards were also handed out: Rookie of the Year; Member of the Year; and the Gus Bakke Memorial Award for significant contribution to the association.
